Red Team Tier 1 Fugitive Investigation Group Successfully Apprehends High-Risk $200,000 Bail Skip in San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS — Members of Red Team Tier 1 Fugitive Investigation Group, a Texas-based bail bonds investigation unit, recently completed the successful apprehension of a high-risk fugitive after an intensive investigation and surveillance operation in the San Antonio area.

The case involved Adam Campos, a defendant who had previously served time in a federal supermax prison for drug trafficking and weapons-related offenses. Campos was once again facing serious criminal allegations, including Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance and Evading Arrest with a Vehicle out of Comal County, Texas. With approximately $200,000 in bond liability at stake, the case required immediate attention.

Upon receiving the assignment, investigators from Red Team immediately initiated a comprehensive fugitive investigation utilizing multiple professional investigative techniques and intelligence resources. Assisted by the capabilities provided through the FugitiveForce case management and investigative platform, investigators developed information that ultimately led them to a small motel hidden deep within south San Antonio.

Recognizing the suspect's criminal history and potential risk, investigators elected to conduct a patient and methodical surveillance operation rather than rush into an arrest. Over the next two days, Red Team members maintained watch on the location, carefully documenting activity and waiting for the safest opportunity to take the fugitive into custody.

That opportunity finally came when Campos was observed entering the motel room alone.

With assistance from an investigator from Iron Wolf Investigations of New Braunfels, Texas, Red Team members moved into position and conducted a coordinated operation that resulted in the apprehension of Campos without incident. No injuries occurred, and the suspect was safely taken into custody.

Campos was subsequently voluntarily transported and returned to the Comal County Jail, where he is expected to face substantial prison time due to his status as a repeat offender and his extensive criminal history.

Professionalism, Patience, and Teamwork

Successful fugitive recovery operations are rarely the result of luck. They are built upon patience, intelligence gathering, surveillance, and the ability to coordinate with trusted professionals. This operation highlights the importance of experience and disciplined investigative work in bringing dangerous offenders back before the courts.

Red Team would also like to recognize the assistance provided of Randy Guerra, of Iron Wolf Investigations, whose professionalism and cooperation contributed to a safe and successful conclusion.

Technology Supporting Results

Modern fugitive investigations increasingly rely on advanced tools and information management systems. The FugitiveForce platform played an important role in organizing intelligence, documenting investigative efforts, and helping investigators rapidly process information throughout the operation.
