CASPER, Wyo. — A Texas man accused of domestic violence and violating bond conditions was returned to Wyoming last week after being located by a determined bail bonds agent.

The Defendant: Orlando Antonio Isaias

Orlando Antonio Isaias, 42, was initially arrested in February and charged with choking and endangering his wife at a Casper motel. He posted a $10,000 cash or surety bond after his first court appearance on Feb. 25, 2025, but disappeared before his preliminary hearing on March 4.

Bail Agent’s 24-Hour Recovery Mission

307 Bail Bonds agent Steve Willadsen told Oil City News that he found Isaias hiding at a family member’s home in Texas. Willadsen then made the 12-hour drive—one way—to return him to the Natrona County Detention Center.

Willadsen also noted that Isaias’s wife had returned to Texas and was actively avoiding him.

Bond Violations and Court Response

As part of his original release conditions, Isaias was not allowed to leave Wyoming. However, during a hearing last Thursday, Isaias admitted to spending seven weeks in Mexico, claiming he was coping with his wife leaving him for a younger man.

Hearing this, Judge Kevin Taheri increased the state’s recommended new bond from $25,000 to $50,000 cash only.
